WHAT YOU’LL NEED
1 recipe homemade or store-bought uncooked pizza crust dough
olive oil for brushing crust
½ cup homemade or store-bought pizza sauce
16 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese
8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
½ cup blackberries, rinsed
8 large basil leaves, sliced thinly
salt and pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Sprinkle Corn Meal on your pizza peel to prevent dough from sticking, then lightly flour it as well, and roll out your dough ball to about a 10-12 inch circle. Drizzle olive oil on the dough.
Layer pizza sauce, cheese, bacon, blackberries and basil on top. Top with salt and pepper to taste.
Transfer topped pizza to the oven. Bake for about 2 to 3 minutes, and rotate the pizza 180 degrees halfway though. Bake until the cheese has melted
Remove the pizzas from the oven, slice and serve immediately.
